We have a collective 19 years of shooting professionally. We have a collective eight years of teaching at workshops, seminars and conferences, both online and in person. We have been blessed with success in our business and respect in our community.

But more than that, we have struggled with feeling

uninspired. We have wrestled with work-life balance. We've learned things the hard way. We have played the comparison game. We have had doubts. We have dealt with feelings of unworthiness. We know what it's like to go through this stuff and we want to help you through it. We share the skill based knowledge all the way through the personal struggles.

Is this workshop for beginners?

It's for photographers of every skill level. Maybe you're brand new at photography and would love a launch pad of knowledge - well this is perfect for you. Maybe you're as seasoned as Jayme and Tricia but in need of inspiration, community and something to feed your soul - then this is also perfect for you! No matter what level you're at in your career, there is something for you at this workshop.

Why teach on two specialties?

Why not? Jayme and Tricia have been teaching for four years and decided we wanted to bring something new to the table - something that included education AND wellness, a chance to recharge and get inspired. Something that sparks creativity in your own specialty and potentially offers you a launch pad for a new one.

What is your refund policy?

All payments are non-refundable but are transferable if you're able to sell your spot to someone else.

What will the live shoots be like?

We have planned a total of four styled shoots, two in the afternoon and two at sunset. We will split the group in two, half will go with Jayme and half will go with Tricia for the afternoon and the group will swap for the evening sessions. (A food break will be in between each set.) You'll get a chance to watch us both shoot in an environment that won't make you compete with the entire class for your portfolio shots. You'll be shooting alongside both Jayme and Tricia and you'll have the chance to do your own directing if you'd like to.

Explain the campfire sessions?

We wanted to leave room for casual, comfortable, community style connection. So each night we will meeting at canon beach in Salmon Arm for a bonfire! We'll shoot the shit, answer any questions you have, and just get to know each other!

What is the payment schedule?

The total cost of the workshop with tax is $1784. Payments are in CAD dollars - 50% is due up front, the balance ($892) is due August 15, 2019. Early bird pricing is available for the first TEN tickets sold and the total discount is taken off the first deposit.

Are accommodations inlcluded?

Accommodations are not included be we have group rates available at The Prestige Harbourfront Resort from $134.95 (city view) - $154.95 (lake view) which is based on 2 queen beds so feel free to bunk up if you want to save some cash! If you're looking to bring your family or would like a private room, they do have king rooms available for the same cost but rooms are limited so as soon as you book your ticket, book your room!  Alternatively, there are a variety of campgrounds available in the Salmon Arm area.

What should I bring?

We recommend you bring a DSLR camera with low aperture lenses (as this is primarily what we will be shooting with for our live sessions). Feel free to bring a laptop if you'd like to use it while taking notes/follow along during the editing sessions. We will be providing note pads. Bring warm clothes as October starts to get a bit chilly and possibly rainy in BC and hiking boots or walking shoes as our shoots are on locations with rough terrain
